Study of "Green Manufacturing" on Rural Crystal Coconut Sugar SMEs

Crystal coconut sugar production will produce waste which have an impact on environmental pollution. Waste generated is liquid and solid waste. reduction handling can applied to "green manufacturing" principle. Research aims are: (1) identify generated, (2) determine green manufacturing opportunities, (3) opportunities analyze feasibility, (4) implementation priority. phase includes: quick scan analysis, material, energy flows identification, alternative feasibility analysis (financial, technical environmental), (5) determination implementing Results showed that ant produces in excrement sap form, ashes from combustion, loss, crystal nuclei, spilled sugar. Green alternatives are technically, environmentally financially feasible ash into inorganic fertilizers utilization, replacing cooking furnace, modifying drying equipment, process materials, repairing screening, packaging equipment. Implementing priority indicates main implemented repairs equipment modifications considered technological capabilities good criteria, finance, human resources (HR), environment. These results indicate "Green Manufacturing" rural SMEs increase global competitiveness Economy".
